Boat Lunching is available on both Lake Buchanan and Inks Lake. On Buchanan, the Llano County Park, Burnet County Park, Cedar Point and many local lodges and resorts have good ramps.
On Inks, launching is available at Inks Lake State Park.

Two new Youth Records for Lake Buchanan! 12 March 2015
Tuck McDonald of Midland while staying in Horseshoe Bay, took his son Riggs and his son's friend Logan Wiggins out on Lake Buchanan with Ken Milam's Fishing Guide Service not knowing they would set not one but two lake records! 13 yr old Logan caught an 11.2lb striped bass (30" long) and a 6.8lb Hybrid Striped Bass (24 3/4" long) both setting new youth records for Lake Buchanan! "This is going to be a great fishing year", said Max Milam, "We have been seeing a lot of big bass".
