National Rubber Ducky Day Conservation Fundraiser and Float
Post-holiday blues got you down? Don't be a Bert... be an Ernie!!
Adopt a Rubber Ducky (or four or twenty or more) and head down to the shores of Lake Buchanan for the Lake Buchanan/Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce Rubber Ducky Conservation Fundraiser and Float. You may purchase ducks online via the Adopt buttons above, or in person at the Lake Buchanan/Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center, Monday through Saturdays 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. On January 13th, National Rubber Ducky Day, the Lake Buchanan/Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce will donate a flock of ducks to two local non-profits.
Ducks are adoptable starting Monday, December 29th at 8 am until Saturday, January 17th at 12 noon.
Then, join us for food, fun and an afternoon of prizes for our First Annual Rubber Ducky Float! All proceeds go to the Lake Buchanan/Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce Lakes Conservation and Preservation Committee and our legislative, eco-tourism and education goals for 2026.
Float Day Location: Llano County Park, Lake Buchanan
Float Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026
Official Rubber Ducky Launch: 3:00 PM
Announcement of the Winners: Once the ducks float into the shore area, duck adoptees will be called to pick up the number of ducks they have purchased. There will be a number associated with each duck. Please proceed with your duck(s) to the awards table where you will turn in your duck and find out if you have won a prize! Winners will be announced the day of the float and must be at the park in person to pick their duck and collect their prize(s)!
